14-16 September 2020

Virtual European Peering Forum

COVID-19 Update: EPF is postponed to next year and we now opened our virtual EPF which will take place on the same dates: from Monday September 14 till Wednesday September 16.

Over the past few months we have been watching the developments of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We have had many meetings about the future of EPF15 in Rome but have finally come to the conclusion to postpone EPF15 until September 2021. There are many people involved in such an event and their health and safety is of the utmost importance to us. We know how disappointing this news will be for so many, but the decision has been made after considerable guidance from the 4 host countries

However, although this year we are unable to meet in person, we understand that cancelling this event could be detrimental for some. So, as hosts, we are working behind the scenes to provide you with a virtual EPF. This will be a scaled down online event, with a limited presentation agenda and 3 days of meeting slots on our online improved meeting tool which will run for 24 hours a day due to the different timezones. We added for example a keyword field which matches you to other people, we added a virtual meeting room for your meetings or you can schedule your own location and much more. You will receive a separate email with all the details of this tool once your registration is approved.

On day one of the event, Monday September 14 we will have a virtual Happy Hour at 5 o'clock Rome time so please join and celebrate our first virtual EPF!

Please mark the 20th – 22nd September 2021 in your calendars for the physical EPF15 in Rome, Italy.

Many thanks for your continued support and understanding.

Many thanks,

The EPF hosts,

AMS-IX, DE-CIX, LINX and NETNOD
